Firmware 4.1.0 for X2D?

It’s clear now from following several posts on various Hasselblad or Medium format forums, that Hasselblad does have a new firmware for the X2D, version 4.1.0. This firmware is what is now shipping on new cameras over the past 4 weeks or so. Question? Why can’t Hasselblad release 4.1.0 to the general field? Question? What did 4.1.0 fix? Did Hasselblad make an engineering change to the later versions of the X2D that required a newer firmware? Phase One did this multiple times with the old P45+. I know this as I owned one that was caught up on the issues with 1 hours exposures and firmware incompatibility.

Current firmware level for X2D

The screen capture above is from the main Hasselblad support page for the X2D, which clearly still shows the latest version is 4.0.0. This is a bit strange! You have released a new firmware for over 6 weeks on new cameras, that for some reason cannot be released to the field.

No point in opening a question to Hasselblad support as they are still clueless on the issues with HNNR raw and Phocus desktop over applying noise reduction.

It would be nice to see that firmware 4.1.0 does or fixes.
